Mr. Meyer zu Schwabedissen counsels financial service providers, issuers and smaller and medium sized firms in all areas of capital markets law and investment law. These firms come from various sectors and financial spheres. One main focus of Mr. Meyer zu Schwabedissen is the development of innovative investment concepts, especially regarding mezzanine financing. Gustav Meyer zu Schwabedissen, born 1954, studied law in Freiburg, Hamburg and London with a focus on business and commercial law. Since 1984 he has been working as a lawyer in Düsseldorf internationally, initially as a salaried lawyer in the law firm Kortländer & Partner. In 1986 he became a partner of that law firm. Since 1992 he is licensed as a certified public accountant. Mr. Meyer zu Schwabedissen took over the law firm Kortländer & Partner in 1996 and has been leading the firm under the name mzs lawyers since 2005.
