Ms. Sommermeyer counsels investors regarding the rescission of failed investments. One main focus of her practice is the representation of investors who participated in closed-end funds, especially real estate and life insurance funds. Additionally, Ms. Sommermeyer represents investors who purchased certificates and want to enforce claims against those who took part in the purchase.

Curriculum Vitae

Stefanie Sommermeyer, born in 1973, studied law at the university in Kiel. She did her legal clerkship in Kleve. Ms. Sommermeyer has been admitted to the legal profession since 2006 and worked initially for a medium-sized law firm in the field of consumer credit law. She has been working for mzs lawyers as a salaried lawyer since 2010. Since May 2012 Ms. Sommermeyer has been holding the title „Fachanwältin für Bank- und Kapitalmarktrecht“ (officially certified specialist lawyer for banking and capital markets law). This title was introduced by the federal bar association at the beginning of 2008 to certify particular knowledge and experience in this field of law.
